What are these all about and what can I expect?  20 minute Mini Photo Shoots are offered throughout the year, all across Colorado (and occasionally elsewhere).   Sessions are great for babies over 8 weeks old, children, small families with under 5 members, head shots and maternity sessions.   Anything outside that range would not qualify for a mini shoot and needs to be booked as a portrait session.  I occasionally offer mini shoots exclusively for newborns, dogs, or boudoir clients.   Those sessions are announced on Facebook and twitter then followed by a client only email.  If you would like to be notified when these client announcements go out, email Laurie@renditionstudios.com and we will add you to the list(and look forward to seeing you)!

Mini Shoots are an opportunity for me to try new poses, test out new locations, and meet new clients for a reduced fee.  I bring two cameras and use what is on site.  I do not bring studio equipment, additional lenses, reflectors or backdrops .  My style is to suggest poses and shoot as the set ups come together naturally.  I encourage you to interact with each other and occasionally look my way.  I will shoot and move to a new spot to give you some variety and keep the kids guessing.  Please adventure around the website, dig into the blog or Facebook page for examples.

Some Mini Shoots are themed, some might have furniture and some are just you in the beautiful environment.  Each location is finalized the week prior so I can do a walk through close to the conditions we will have.  Most sessions are nature backdrops but some are industrial, urban, country, or a mix things.   If you want more detail or you are concerned about how this all goes down, check out the FAQs.
