Full Photo Shoots and Mini photo shoots are Rendition Studios two most popular photo shoot types. Full Photo Shoots are offered all year long, any day, any time and any location you like. They are catered to your needs and meant to be easy! Reschedule if you get sick, bring your dog and as many people as you like (travel fees do apply). Want to see your image in color or black and white, I can do that. Retouching? Ok! You have up to an hour so make the most of it. Mini Shoots are only done at specific locations, on specific dates and they are 20 minutes max. Sessions are payable in advance and non-refundable should something come up (including your kid getting sick OR less than ideal weather). Mini shoots are for up to 5 people and are booked back to back all day so session times are not flexible (but work great if you just want to show up and get your photo taken). What you see in the image gallery is what you get, no additional edits or color/BW requests.

Full Photo Shoot
Location: Your choice or photographer’s recommendation (based on well know locations)
Date/Time: Booked year round at a time that is best for lighting and for you and your family. Flexible
Format: Session moves at the pace you want them to.
Shoot Time: Up to one (1) hour included. Take 5 minutes or take more time, that is fine. Quote given for additional booking time, due at shoot.
Cost: $450 payable on shoot day. All Rendition Studios products are for sale from your online gallery.
Participant Limitations: Limited by time only.
Animals: Animals are allowed.
Editing: I make a few passes at editing your photo shoot and then upload your photo gallery where you make your choices. There will be a mix of black and white, color images, and sometimes some other processing styles mixed in for fun. Should you want additional edits when you see your gallery choices, retouching is $2.00/minute. Fee is quoted in advance and payable before work starts.
Original Files: Original RAW files are kept for about three months to allow for editing.
Equipment: I bring all of my equipment, just in case. That includes lenses, camera bodies, reflectors and equipment. Once I am at your photoshoot I decide what to use based on your session requirements.
Turn around Time: 1-3 weeks depending on the time of year. Let me know if you need me to rush the edits and I will do my best to accommodate you.
Online Galleries: Posted online indefinitely, password protection available.
Privacy. Online Marketing and RS Blog: Option to opt out
Travel fees: 20 miles from Denver (880 Hudson st 80220) is included, after that travel is billed at $2/mile. Payable on shoot day.
Cancellation: If you need to cancel, just let me know as soon as you can and we will reschedule, for whatever reason.
Booking: All portrait sessions are booked by emailing or calling Laurie Callahan so we can select the right time, date and location for you.
Mini Shoot
Location: Photographer’s Choice, sites are occasionally being tested for the first time.
Date/Time: Booked when there is an opening in my schedule and I want to try a new photo location. Sessions fill up fast and are booked all day, all weather shoots. Check the schedule now!
Format: Fast pace. Back to back sessions all day, no advanced shot coordination.
Shoot Time: 20 minutes max, including signing model release and walk time. No exceptions.
Cost: $225 for 5MB max files, additional $25 for full resolution. Images sent online for direct download. $50 for a photo CD or USB.
Participant Limitations: Not for newborns under eight (8) weeks old, engagement sessions or families larger than five (5). One family can not book 2 sessions back to back.
Animals: Not allowed unless otherwise noted.
Editing: I make one good pass at your edits before you see the images. There will be a mix of black and white, color images, and sometimes some other processing styles mixed in for fun (less than 10%). Additional edits are not available for mini shoots because I do not save the original files. What you see in the online gallery is what you get.
Original Files: None, what you see in the online gallery is all I have.
Equipment: I bring two lenses mounted with two camera bodies, that’s it.
Turn around Time: 2-4 weeks depending on the time of year. Quote given in the online booking text and restated by your photographer on shoot day. No rush is available.
Online Galleries: Included, posted online indefinitely
Privacy. Online Marketing and RS Blog: Your images will be used on my site and in my marketing.
Travel fees: N/A
Cancellations: No refunds or exchanges for future shoots. If you need to cancel after your fee has been paid, regardless of the reason, your money is not refunded and is not put to another, future photoshoot. These sessions fill up fast and the time was held for you. The best thing you can do is send someone else in your place and come next time 🙂
