My new BFF {Wheatridge, Portrait Photoshoot}

I don’t care how poor a man is; if he has family, he’s rich. ~Dan Wilcox and Thad Mumford, “Identity Crisis,” M*A*S*H

This little guy decided we were BFFs the minute we met.  He held my hand between photo locations.   He put his arms up after one spot and made a noise to indicate a pick up, so… I carried him to the next trail.  At one point he wanted me in the photos and that is when he had my heart forever.  Tempting but his mom diverted his attention to his other buddy, the dog, and they were off.  This little guy has a lot of love to give and I was getting a piece of it.  Lucky me!

His mom and I went to elementary + middle + high school together.  Fast forward a decade and a half and here we are.   THIS is what I love about my job.  Next to making new friends, I love seeing the old.  My heart is full after a weekend of these kind of photo shoots.  Thank you Schafer family for the opportunity.  It was a pleasure.
