A professional on-location photographer will have a sitting fee charge so that their time and experience is valued. These fees typically start around $200 and include the photographer and their thousands of dollars of equipment, but no products. When on a shoot, we are looking at lighting, watching the background, adjusting the camera settings and making sure you look your best. For some shoots this means we are focusing on your professional look, in other instances we want to make sure your images turn out casual and un-staged. For a Sitting Fee, you are paying someone to pay attention to the details and know their equipment. In some cases, this fee is also inclusive of a first round of editing. After your shoot, the photographer will go to their studio to download, save and process your files. From here the photographer will continue to work on making you shine and keeping the image focused on its intent. We can apply photo styles and crop, we will adjust lighting and sharpness.
