I have know two of these family members since the 90s.  Makes me sound old to say that but it is true.  I had never photographed them before AND it had been 10 plus years since we had seen each other, but that was a non issue.  Good people are good people.  Even though it was a cold and snowy day, we made it work with lots of smiles and candor.
