I take family portraits how I would like them taken of me.  I like watching families interact and I think it is important for the portrait to reflect the way you really are together.  I would love to come to your home and see a collage of images where you are laughing, smiling, adjusting each other’s hair and treating each other with the closeness we all hope for.   Seeing those kind of photos hung over your couch would warm my heart.

That does not mean that I will not set you guys up.  I will look for the best light, background and angle and go from there.  When it comes to children I have to be flexible with all of these things and come ready to shoot as we move.  It is always fun to see what we come up with!
