A child’s life is like a piece of paper on which every person leaves a mark ~ Chinese Proverb
It is always cool to capture senior portraits. They are starting their lives as “independent adults” (I will put that in quotes, as I am a parent) and going out into the world. I love the look in their eyes when they talk about it. Nervous, excited, confident, unsure. It is all there. There is no greater time than this. I have been lucky enough to love all the stages of my life but I really loved my college years.
This session was particularly special for me. I met this family in 2012 for family photos near the Mile High Stadium. The session sticks out because of the way they treated each other and because these girls, young as they were, were so authentic and fun. The shoot was light hearted and creative. After that, I captured them one more time before they moved to the Pacific Northwest.
While Julianna chose the site, this senior session was something Kira (the mom) had in her mind for years. When they booked their trip to Colorado, I was so happy to be squeezed into the schedule. THANK YOU M family for making this happen, here are some previews!
