Engagement Photoshoot at Rendition Studios Weddings
Engagement Session are great opportunity for you and your fiance to celebrate your engagement AND take some pictures where you look like you. These sessions also help you get to know me, help me see what works best for you as a couple and put you at ease for your wedding day. Season: If you are flexible, think about the time of year you would like to do your engagement session. Each Season provides distinct opportunities for photography. Come prepared. There will be pictures with your hands, there will be shots cropped tight on your faces. Be prepared to take your shoes off 🙂 Ladies, consider getting your hair and makeup done and get into it! What to Wear! Many couples wear a casual outfit and bring something more dressed up to change into. Avoid over matching your partner, compliment instead. Avoid clothing with shiny fabrics, loud patterns or large graphics. Bring accessories and props to make it personal to you (hats, scarves, jewelry, sunglasses, blankets, books). Whatever you wear, we want the focus to be on you and the clothing should compliment your sense of style. The most important thing is to dress in clothes that makes you feel good and have fun with it. Choose a location that is meaningful to you as a couple. I suggest the spot you were engaged, a place you spend time together, or just a location you both love. If you are short on ideas, I would love to help pick the photo spot(s)! To get ideas, look at photos in the Rendition Studios Photo Galleries, search the Rendition Studios Pinterest page and take note of what appeals to you. Block out some time. Engagement Sessions run one to two hours depending on the location, lighting, and your hopes and dreams for the shoot.
Photography is done in natural light and there is little retouching to allow for the most authentic reflection of you and your real environment. My goal is to give you a mix of straightforward portraits combined with lifestyle/candid shots, details, tight and wide landscape shots.
Pricing: Your $400 fee includes up to 2 hours shoot time, an online image gallery, direct download, travel within 20 miles of Rendition Studios, and at cost printing with the Rendition Studios store. Should you want additional time, that is billed at $200/hour (billed in 15 minute increments). All fees must be paid in full for your images to be released. Additional retouching is available for ($2/minute) a fee for a limited time, quote given in advance to work.
