Spring Snow for an Evergreen Wedding

“To be fully seen by somebody, then, and be loved anyhow–this is a human offering that can border on miraculous.”
– Elizabeth Gilbert, Committed: A Skeptic Makes Peace with Marriage

I left my home expecting the drive to be slow, so I had a good buffer of time, but even I was surprised how long it took.  What is typically a 45 minute drive from Denver took an hour and a half.   I hit full white out conditions in Evergreen (pic) and pulled over twice.  I was also hit with two cases of pinkeye earlier in the week, all thanks to my 1.5 year old daughter who has taken to literally touching my eyes as often as she can.  But, enough about me.

The snow slowed as I arrived and even stopped for about 3 minute so I could capture the Robert Frost nature of this site.  Vic, the groom, could not have been happier with this weather.  A Minnesota guy with a taste for things done a little differently, he was all smiles.  The bride, Heather, had seen it coming and had a great attitude about it all.  What will be will be!  It really was perfect for this charming couple and their families.  I was honored to be there and capture such an authentic and sincere wedding.  For a couple who does not like having their picture taken, I think they did a great job.
