Windy Day Portraits

“A happy family is but an earlier heaven.” —George Bernard Shaw

When family is in town and the one time you have to take family portrait is a very windy moment in the Colorado hills, you make it work!

I know this location very well so we went to the main structure on site and used the walls to block the gusts as best I could.  The twins did not enjoy the wind in the brief moment we attempted portraits with mountain backdrops, and none of us blamed them.  The wind persisted so we left our first site and went down valley.  Our next spot had some tree breaks and foothills nearby.  It also had the benefit of water and a bridge.

Thank you all for letting me capture your family.  Here are some previews!
